Meet the Coaches

Alex Parkinson

I fell in love with CrossFit when I started it back in 2017. I wanted a social style of gym training where I felt like I was actually cared for and coached.


The rest is history as they say. I started as a member of CrossFit Wolverhampton in 2018, before beginning coaching there in 2019. In 2023 I got the chance to buy the gym and have never looked back.


I am super proud of our members, all of their achievements but mostly, who they are as individuals. We have a great team of Coaches and members that makes the work easy!

James Brown

2023 CrossFit Games athlete and all around good guy!


Not only does James look after our 5am early risers, you'll also spot him at many of our evening and weekend classes. 


James is a Level 2 CrossFit Coach & also qualified for CrossFit Kids, inspiring the next generation of athletes. 

Tom Halliday

You'll see Tom on Monday evenings, especially if you attend our speciality Gymnastics class!


If you want to grow your confidence in all things upside down, Tom is your guy!.

Billy Ryder

Billy is the latest member of the CFW Coaching team. Having begun his CrossFit journey at an early age, Billy showed a massive amount of maturity and desire to progress into coaching.
